Post Holiday Post

So how did it go peeps? We had a really great day, followed by a day of relaxation. Bret has the week off so we're totally taking it easy and squandering the free time on tv and lounging about.

So tell me, how did it go for you?

You must be sending me subliminal messages- I am looking at a project for 2012 and it was a toss up between this one on the magazine cover, and another one...! Need to check my fabrics and see if I can do either in the size I want.

Lounging sounds perfecto! Enjoy every moment of it. I always love the time between Christmas and New Year's when you have a chance to look back and look ahead. Something very fulfilling about that :) xok

It sounds like the perfect kind of week to end the year. Enjoy some calm before 2012 brings its own excitement.

I have some extra time off work so I went through all my pictures and remembered that last year we had a very white New Years. Today I am going to San Jose to see my grandbaby. Yesterday was a gardening day, so I guess it has been a holiday full of all my favorite things!

Glad you have some time to relax as I know you are always busy working on creative thoughts and projects! We had a wonderful Christmas, all has been packed away, and I am ready to create some fun things myself! Happy New Year!

Christmas was great. There's nothing like watching a 2 and 4 year old open a million presents. Next we are taking them to the local semi pro hockey game on New Year's eve where they have indoor fireworks. Should be fun.

I want to do that quilt on the cover of the AP&Q mag. My sis took me to see that new movie, War Horse, on Monday. Great movie, but if you love animals, take a pocket full of hankies LOL Was remembering Bing and humming DREAMING of a White Christmas! Those inflatable lawn ornies look silly with no snow!!! MHO
