Today is brought to you by...

Sunny weather!

So how's the week been people? I think pretty good overall here. Yesterday I went and met up with Frankie for some window shopping and lunch in Santa Cruz. The weather was nice, still a little cool, but sunny shirtsleeves weather. It was good. Today I think I'll dead head some roses then hit the sewing room. That Holiday Happy isn't going to sew itself is it? So inside and out, best of both worlds. Hope you guys have a great weekend, see you back here next week!
OH!! P. S. the flag quilt is by Busy Bee Quilt Designs and can be found here! The fabric is all from my stash, so not any particular line.

I enjoy your blog so much. Love those flowers. I live in WA so tulips are just now fading away. I am so ready for warm weather and more flowers. Roses are just getting buds. My snowball shrub isn't blooming yet. Between flowers, fabric, thread and quilting live is joyful....
Hugs, Marietta

Thank you for sharing your sunny day with us! We're having a cold rainy spring day here in southern WI, which is appropriate. The plants love it and everything is finally green. Perfect days for handsewing hems for tablecloths.

Can you tell me what kind of rose that is? It's gorgeous!!

My Japanese snowball tree is covered in flowers now too and they made me think of you the other day. Mine aren't whiting up yet. They're still very green. I anticipate a house full of vases of them. It's one of my favorite garden prizes.

Love your snowball bush. My grandma had one in her yard and your picture made me think of her. She was one of those fabulous grandmas that let me play house on her big front porch, complete with mud pies and all. She used to help me dress up the cats in doll dresses too.
