Pie Me

After last weeks pie eating over at Elizabeth's, that pie has been on my mind. A lot. So I figured with my portion problems, I could easily make the pie in tiny little shells, get my pie fix and farm out the rest of the mini-pies on my neighbors. Well that recipe makes a lot more filling than the 6 mini-pie shells I got. Now my question is, can I freeze that filling?
I hope the neighbors enjoy their pie. It was yummy. I used pink lemonade in my pie and then a drop or three of red food coloring. Very pretty. Pink. Yummy.

Famous Deb Silva has tagged me for 10 things people don't know about me.. man are there 10 things left worth sharing? I don't know. I've posted almost 650 times.. that's a lot of info.

So people, why don't I tag you to comment something you know about me? That sounds a little scary because you never know what people will say. So be kind.

And tomorrow, finally, the Moda Bake Shop Post. Really.

I thought of you yesterday as I was a 90th birthday party for an aunt. A cousin had the coolest Hello Kitty watch on that she found at a consignment store. I MUST find one like it.

Well I will say we have a lot in common and that I think we'd get along. That says a lot. I know you like red and yellow and beautiful Japanese fabric. And that pink book has us both crazy. Speaking of the pink book, they don't have all the drawings of the blocks in the sampler quilt on the cover. I would love to recreate that quilt. I feel like they short changed me with that. But in the top margin of the book in faint print they have the blocks so I'm tempted to try to do that. Along with my 5600 other projects. I looked at the book again before bed last night. It isn't something that calms me down before bed unfortunately. It is more like a jolt of energy. Not bedtime reading. Oh and another thing about you - you like to read and you watch old CSI. Fun stuff.

I wouldn't risk freezing the pie. Eat it. Just eat it. (and yes... I'm so sick of hearing MJ songs!)

I will be kind about a thing I know about you. You could so easily retaliate - your arsenal of info is much bigger on me then mine is on you.

OH, I know something. When you were a little kid - you had a super wonderful neighbor!

I had to come back and read what everyone said about you. Hilarious Elizabeth. She kept commenting. So funny. I love that you say good gravy too. I say things like that and Holy Cow. My kids think I'm positively ancient. It is good to know if my friends say silly things, I'm ok.
