Lackidaisical

Hello peoples, how are you? Seems like forever since I've sat down to talk about what I'm actually doing. Which is not much. I haven't turned on my sewing machine since I came home from market even. What's with that? I did some work for my SilverStarCelebrity, I'm working on a project for another celebrity and getting ready for a quick weekend trip to Disneyland to celebrate Bret and Frankie's birthdays!
I just found out that Terry Atkinson has a blog. I have made so many of her designs over the years. They're great for beginners and accomplished quilters alike. I think her instructions are the best around, clear, concise and with the best illustrations. I'm always so envious of Roseann and all the fun things she's doing in Minnesota with Terry and all the wonderful friendly people there.
Ok peeps, have a good day. xo

Oh my you are in a dry spell! You must get that machine humming once you get back from Disney. Thanks for the info on Terry Atkinson. I love her patterns too and have made many of them. I agree with you they are clear and concise! Have a great weekend!

THANKS for the Terry Atkinson blog link, PKM! Because I TOTALLY need to sew a FAT SACK!!!! (Please refer to post of Nov. 7, 08). Conveniently, I bought a yard of pretty, sturdy Japanese fabric just this morning (of course, if I use it for a fat sack, I'm going to have to go buy more--I know, the sacrifice!). I love that fat sack!

Well thanks Pam. Now I have to go make some Fat Sacks. Apparently they stand up regardless of ones driving style?
Anything to keep me from what I should be doing...sigh...

I have longingly looked over at my sewing machine - since getting back from market. . . but that's it. . . just looking at it too. It's okay though. . . I'm betting it's loving the break after all the work it did before market!
I am loving the 'fat bags'! What great directions! Now - I could even make those! . . . Hmm. . . & I'm wanting ideas for Christmas. . .
I hope you have a wonderful time at Micky & Pooh's house! Hey. . . go on "Soaring Over California' for me! (My favorite ride there!)
xo, Bren

I love Terry Atkinson's designs and clear instructions. Recently I made one of her projects and couldn't understand what one step was telling me to do. (Sometimes I'm really thick-headed about instructions.) In desperation, I e-mailed Terry asking for help. She replied the next day! How cool is that?

Lackadaisical... love that word and so how I've been feeling. We had over 5'' of rain in the last two days, and even though there was a glimmer of sunshine about 5 minutes ago... I'm still feeling lackadaisical. Disneyland would wake me back up! Can't wait to go "with you" guys via txt. And I know Frankie's the birthday girl (Happy Birthday Frankie!), but can you ask her to scoot her seat up a bit? I need just a tad more leg room.

Just went and checked Terry's blog... man I love her patterns! Like E, now I have to make one of those Fat Stack bags. Though, I think the three of us should put it to our driving test... illegal turns, high speed, slow speed, driving while taking photos...
